Do not get prompted about password being incorrect when printing against a server running "Ubuntu 12.04.1 CUPS 1.5.3" or "Ubuntu 11.10 CUPS 1.4.6" using basic authentication over SSL.
Job gets stuck in clients local queue with status "Printing - Connected to printer."

Tested client OS versions:
OS X 10.8.2 12C60
OS X 10.8.2 12C54
OS X 10.8.1 12B19
Mac OS X 10.7.3 11D50d

All 10.8.x OS X versions fails to prompt the user about the message "cupsdAuthorize: pam_authenticate() returned 7 (Authentication failure)!" in the Linux servers /var/log/cups/error_log. Version 1.7.3 of Mac OS X prompts the user about "On Hold (Authentication Required)" after six logged "cupsdAuthorize: pam_authenticate() returned 7 (Authentication failure)!" messages at the servers.

If I use a blank password it seams to work as expected and I get a message in the print queue saying "Hold for Authentication".
