This message is most often logged in the error_log file if you attempt to print a file to a non-PostScript printer when you do not have ESP Ghostscript installed.
It can also be displayed if you have enabled the application/octet-stream MIME type in /etc/cups/mime.types, but have not also enabled the corresponding print filter in /etc/cups/mime.convs.
