The easiest way to track your jobs is from the web interface located at:
Just click on the printer you are interested in and see who has used the printer and see all completed and uncompleted jobs.
Tracking Jobs From The Command Line
If you want to see the status of any pending job:
If you want to see all your completed jobs:
If you want to see all the incomplete jobs:
If you want to see all completed jobs:
If you want to see your printing activity on a particular printer:
So to see your activiy on printer N2025, you'd type:
To see everyone's activty on a printer:
As shown before, printername must be replaced by the name of your printer.

It's not apparent in your article that the '-W' option MUST be uppercase, because on my system 'lpstat -w completed' says option 'w' is unknown. Is this just a web browser problem or am I blind or is it an error ?
Also what does "your printing activity" mean exactly ? If I ask lpstat to report my "printing activity" I see nothing, despite having printed several jobs. Should this display the jobs actually queued ? Reply
