oopstops 1.0

This CUPS filter sanitizes the PostScript jobs created by OpenOffice 2.x or 3.x. It makes the PostScript jobs DSC compliant, thus further processing by the pstops filter works without problems. Download  ·  Home Page  ·  Listing

thanks for providing this filter, it seems the only place where troubles printing by OOwriter via postscript/cups are dealed with. Still I have a nasty problem: any 2nd, 3rd,.. print out of certain files have mixed up fonts(characterwise exchange, invariably 2nd=3rd and on next day) Debian 5.0 OOwriter (-3.3.0) > cups (-1.4.4-7) > Brother HL5060D BR-Script3/gutenprint and other drivers. I bought another printer of same type, I put in full RAM, I used USB/parallel, different versions of all software components, I never saw using Winword or other non-postscript apllications. I would be pleased to provide a sample. Reply
