The 7.05.4 release add nearly all known GhostScript drivers as listed on "http://www.linuxprinting.org/", including IBM's OMNI, Martin Lottermoser's PCL3, and EPSON's laser printer drivers. The new release also fixes some problems in the configure script.

How can I get it to compile on a FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE system?

I can get the ports collection ghostscript to compile (either AFPL or GNU); but they don't hpijs or dj3320 drivers.

I get: ./obj/dscparse.o:src/dscparse.c:4051: more undefined references to `rpl_malloc' follow /usr/local/lib/libgimpprint.so: undefined reference to `libintl_bindtextdomain' /usr/local/lib/libgimpprint.so: undefined reference to `libintl_dgettext' gmake: *** [bin/gs] Error 1

at the end of the gmake session. :( Reply

Did som googling for a quick'n'dirty solution and found this: www.uclibc.org/lists/uclibc/2003-July/006524.html

Then I just added the code snippet at the end of the page to 'src/dscparse.c'

Yeah yeah, I know it's ugly, but it did compile :P ;D Reply
