genstef 04:35 Apr 30, 2006 | downstream bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121924 not using fPIC here, breaks on amd64: ./obj/../soobj/gp_unix.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
